About Me
Philadelphia-based portrait photographer, Anthony Licata, finds his inspiration in Renaissance artists like Caravaggio, Rembrandt, and Titian. His use of strong shadows emphasizes the most telling features of his subjects. Although the dramatic lighting may be preferential, he finds the collaborative experience of any style of portrait photography to be the most rewarding.
Anthony went to the State University of New York at New Paltz, where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography.
His work has been shown in various exhibitions and publications throughout the Northeast United States, Rome, and Prague. He now resides in Philadelphia and works out of The Braid Mill Studio in Germantown.
