Philadelphia-based photographer, Anthony Licata, finds inspiration in theories of psychology and Renaissance art to create dramatic portraits of his subjects. His use of contrast emphasizes the most telling features of his subjects.

 

Anthony went to the State University of New York at New Paltz, where he received his BFA in Photography. 

His work has been shown in various exhibitions and publications throughout the Northeast United States, Rome, and Prague. He now resides in Philadelphia and works with Stenton Studio in Germantown.
